It's (Almost) My Birthday So I Made Myself a Mother's Day Banner

The love between a mother and her child

Sometimes we have to spoil ourselves and make our own Mother's Day gifts. And since my birthday is tomorrow, I figured I would share a recent Glue Dots® project I made featuring my two beautiful girls and yours truly.

Supplies:

Glue Dots Glue Lines®
Fancy Pants Love Birds cards
brown cardstock
brown ribbon (41" long)
brown ink
3 circle photos (2" diameter)
poem (see above)

Step 1: Create brown cardstock mats: 5 for the cards (3.25 x 4.25") and 3 for the photos (2.25" diameter). Attach the photos to the circle mats with Glue Lines®. Set aside.

Step 2: Adhere Glue Lines® to the left and right sides of each card mat to attach the ribbon.

Step 3: Use Glue Lines® to adhere the cards to the mats.

Step 4: Print out the poem, cut into strips, ink the edges and adhere to the cards with Glue Lines®.

Mother's Day is this Sunday and I'm so happy to still have my mom in my life. I'm lucky to be able to spend time with her and the above layout (Day 4 Cardstock Challenge of Layout A Day/LOAD) shows the two of us vacationing in Arizona (circa 1986). We have created many memories together and I look forward to seeing her again soon.
