"Fun" Two-Page Summer Scrapbook Layout |
Since we replaced our pool with a play set, Daddy thought you would have fun sliding into this little pool. He was right.
That was the journaling for this two-page summer scrapbook layout. The hardest part was admitting my husband was right, but when it comes to providing fun for these two little ladies, it's easy to do.
Supplies:
Glue Dots® (Mini, Memory Book)
cardstock (Recollections and MemoryWorks Simple Stories)
patterned paper (Bo Bunny)
stickers (Bo Bunny)
notecard (MemoryWorks Simple Stories)
flowers (Petaloo)
monogram letters (Basic Grey)
digital word elements (MemoryWorks Simple Stories)
letter stamps (Making Memories)
ink (Ranger)
buttons
edge distresser
As you can see, my daughters were having a splashing good time on that summer day. The bright colors in the Bo Bunny patterned paper were my inspiration and by using arrows alongside photos and journaling, the story flowed.
I distressed the photo edges before using Memory Book Glue Dots® to adhere them to the layout. To create the strip journaling, I used ink on letter stamps and Mini Glue Dots® to secure the pieces in place. Mini Glue Dots® also helped attach the title and digital word element strips to the layout.
